Fernald was established in 1974 and incorporated in Long Beach in 1980.  Leslie F. Gentile has been principle in the firm since 1995, making Fernald a 100% Women Owned Business. Fernald has been fortunate to continue our practice with many clients returning as repeat business.  We are mindful of that and deliver personal attention to every aspect of the project.

We provide services from Site Feasibility through Construction, but also, upon request, provide Interior Space Planning, Design and Furniture specification, including coordination of procurement and installation services.

As a local Long Beach firm, our talented staff has extensive experience in working with city agencies throughout California, Oregon and Arizona.  The design team is well versed for managing the technical development of a project from concept design through construction, all working together on Fernald projects for over a decade. Our team has extensive experience in producing high quality design documents for specialized buildings and complex facilities as well as managing projects during the construction phase.
